Delivery FAQ

How much does it cost? 

Delivery is free on all our products. 

All items are sent on next day delivery via DPD and will arrive the next day if ordered before 1PM. 

 

How long does delivery take? 

We send all items out on next day delivery but the deadline for this is 1PM but for example if you order at 3PM on a Tuesday then it will arrive on Thursday. 

 

Are you able to allocate delivery slots?

I'm afraid not, if you happen to be out then our courier (DPD) will leave a delivery note stating that someone has tried to deliver. You can always call your local DPD depot or they will automatically re-deliver at an alternative day. 

 

Does someone have to be in?

You do not have to be at the delivery address but you will need to state this in the "comments" box at the checkout. 

 

Do you deliver to Northern Island, Isle of Wight and other islands? 

Yes we do but DPD do charge extra. For the above islands it will be £20. 

 

What if the delivery arrives damaged?

When the courier comes we advise all our customers to inspect the package to ensure it has not been damaged. If it looks damaged please sign for it as "damaged" or you have the right to refuse the delivery. Then give us a call and we can help get it sorted. If the customer accepts a visibly damaged box then return costs will not be covered by Simply Chicken Coops.
